And when it was time for Cash to go to the room for treatment, Cash crawled up to the nurse and she took him back there (which was a first!):
This afternoon we're going to go to the zoo with new friends we've met from Seattle who are at the proton center as well receiving treatment for their son, Zach. Since we arrived 4 weeks ago, the weather looks to be about the same, 90 degrees and humid - need lots of sunscreen, even when it's cloudy...
Benefit Update:
A great friend of ours from Seattle, Kyle, is going to stream the benefit for Cash tomorrow evening live for those who are unable to make it (this includes me...). To watch a live streaming video of the benefit you can click here - http://go.blackoutcreations.
For those attending the benefit I'll see you tomorrow via the stream and hopefully I'll be skype-ing in to say hi! Thank you as always for your prayers!!!
Jack--does that mean I can see it here, too??
ReplyDeleteThat would be so neat!
Cash looks so much better--look at his chubby little legs! I think Jack Jr. is great medicine too!
Love prayers and thoughts are with you!
The pic of them playing together is the sweetest thing! I just heard that the fundraiser is SOLD OUT sooooo amazing the support from the community! Can't wait to see you streaming live!
ReplyDeleteWendi and Jack -- The kids and I are unable to be there; however, we are praying for a ridiculous sum of money to be raised -- spiritually speaking :) Love you guys and PTL for ALL things -- you guys rock! The kids are so precious and the pictures are great. Your former student, Michael, has four more days of school and he is a senior! Thanks for being there for him!
ReplyDeleteI love this pic of Cash and I. He is such a sweet boy. My heart swelled with joy when he crawled over to me and held his arms up. My eyes are watering just thinking about it. The Gantry 2 Team looks forward to seeing you guys each and every morning. We are so proud of the work we do here at MD Anderson. We really strive to Make Cancer History! I am so glad that I have had the opportunity to play a part in that for your family.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of Jack Jr. and Cash is priceless. I'm praying for your family and especially Cash. What a little trooper he is. I hope you'll be home with all your boys soon.
